Latest News About Authorities Arrest Sailor Who Eluded Capture for 20 Years

A New Jersey court fugitive wanted in one of the US’s longest America’s Most Wanted cases has been apprehended.

Wayne (Huang) Norton, 56, fled during trial in 2005 after being alleged of sexually assaulting a female victim.

He spent 20 years on the run, often skimming US coastal regions, and hid partly on his sailboat off Monmouth County.

Federal and local authorities tracked him using boat logs and reports from mariners.

He was detained on Friday, according to several sources, after officials spotted his boat 20 miles offshore.
