Fifteen-year-old Cooper Lutkenhaus recently booked his place in the 800m final at USATF Nationals. He took under 1:50 the previous season, two meets previously. His father coaches him at present. The father works as a coach at Nebraska-Kearney while coaching his son at meets in New York these past weeks. Lutkenhaus stays composed in races even with the jump up ranks. Scouts now observe his consistent times and quiet focus as he chases higher tracks.
