Dieter Brummer, known broadly for his long run on the Australian soap Home and Away, died on 27 June 2026.
His death was promptly confirmed that day.
He spent numerous years on the show and became a well‑known face in both Australia and the UK.
Former co‑star Melissa George said she is devastated.
She called the loss “unfathomable loss” and described it as “absolutely heartbreaking”.
She added that his skill and companionship will be missed.
