Ed Husic, Australia’s Industry Minister, criticised Labour’s inner culture after his plan to permit a discussion on recognising Gaza was rejected.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese allegedly described his statement at a conference as incompetent.
Husic responded by saying he was unbothered by criticism, telling reporters: "put me in a cold chamber, I couldn't care less."
The dispute followed unsuccessful tries to push the party to formally recognise events in Gaza as genocide.
