Ford has issued a global recall of more than 12,700 trucks because a previous repair was flawed. The recall affects particular trucks; owners will be contacted for a no-cost correction.
A separate recall targets 11,000 2018 Ford F‑150s for a gear indicator issue. The recent policy started in 2026. Ford replaced its three-month engine inspection with daily breakdowns. The company says the upgrades ensure safe output before they enter large-scale manufacturing.
