Users worldwide report problems with Instagram ranging from login failures and delayed updates. Downdetector data shows a sharp rise in outage reports over the past hours. Both the app and website appear affected concurrently. Meta has still not release a statement about the disruption as of 22 July 2026. Similar issues have been noted across Facebook, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
