Penarth’s small Welsh vineyard is a compact winery where Bernard and Tanya Herbert started planting in 1999. By 2001 the fully planted 10 acres bore fruit, with varieties including Madeleine Angevine, and Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay for sparkling wine. Due to lacking a winery, Three Choirs at Newent makes the wines. The vineyard’s status remains independent.
