FIFA president Gianni Infantino has been reported to the IOC twice this week over suspected violations of political neutrality rules involving England striker Folarin Balogun’s move reversal in Qatar. On 15 July, a separate complaint was filed about Infantino’s dealings involving Donald Trump at World Cup activities. ESPN and Reuters confirmed the reports. A sports news source stated the IOC will review the case connected to Infantino and Balogun. Additional allegations of ethical misconduct and improper conduct tied to the upcoming World Cup have also been submitted with the IOC, according to talkSPORT and AOL.
