Chelsea Football Club have agreed to a club-record £117 million deal for Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers. Middlesbrough will claim 20% of any future profit from the sale.
The transfer has sparked worries over its impact on playing time for Enzo Fernández. Rogers’ move comes after Chelsea’s summer spending push under new ownership. The club is also scoping Maxence Lacroix, Jonathan Rowe, Nicolas Jackson and Alejandro Garnacho.
