Police checked the circuit and let racing continue after a brief delay.

The 200km race begins later today on the Townsville Street Circuit in Queensland.
This is included of the V8 Supercars series.
Organisers say the day may shift a bit but the race will still go ahead.
So far, no other concerns have occurred.
