The International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed sanctions against players, including Suryakumar Yadav, Haris Rauf, Jasprit Bumrah, and Sahibzada Farhan, over breaches of the ICC Code of Conduct during the Asia Cup 2025.
Hearings were held by the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees based on incidents occurring in the India vs. Pakistan matches played on September 14, 21, and 28, 2025.
Suryakumar Yadav was found guilty of violating Article 2.21 of the ICC Code of Conduct regarding conduct that damages the game’s reputation. He was fined 30% of his match fee and given two demerit points.
Sahibzada Farhan was also found guilty of the same offence, receiving an official warning and one demerit point.
Haris Rauf was fined 30% of his match fee for the same breach and received two demerit points.
Accumulating four demerit points within 24 months caused Haris Rauf to receive two suspension points under the ICC disciplinary rules.
Arshdeep Singh (India) was found not guilty of an alleged breach of Article 2.
