Free agent center Precious Achiuwa has agreed to a contract with the Sacramento Kings, as reported by Shams Charania of ESPN. This move comes as the Kings plan to waive second-year center Isaac Jones to create a roster spot.
Achiuwa, a 2020 first-round draft pick, enters his sixth NBA season. He was originally selected 20th overall by the Miami Heat and waived by them before the 2025–26 season.
The Kings are expected to waive Isaac Jones, who is in his second season with the team. Jones averaged 1.0 points and 0.7 rebounds in 5.7 minutes per game last season.
According to Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews, several EuroLeague teams have also shown interest in the 26-year-old Achiuwa.
