Gary Lineker has expressed great admiration for Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber, describing him as a truly exceptional player. The former striker believes Arsenal are serious Premier League title contenders this season, especially after their impressive form through the first ten matches.

“They’ve got incredible depth at the moment. But Jurrien Timber, I think he’s a truly exceptional footballer,” said Lineker on The Rest Is Football podcast.
“They’ve got so many of them at the moment,” he added, referring to Arsenal’s growing squad strength.
