Craig Melvin made an unexpected confession during Monday's broadcast while co-hosting the fourth hour of the Today show alongside Jenna Bush Hager. It was Craig's debut at the Jenna & Friends desk, which has featured various celebrity guest hosts after Hoda Kotb left in January to focus on her young daughters.
First-Time Experience on Jenna & Friends
Although Craig has been part of Today for years and replaced Hoda in the show's first two hours, he admitted he had never watched Jenna & Friends before. Sitting next to Jenna, he commented,
"This is a nice set. You know, I've never seen the show."
Jenna responded,
"That is so rude!"Craig explained he usually did not have the opportunity to watch, as he was finishing up on the third hour when her segment began.
