Marvel Studios is set to launch the next major chapter of the MCU with the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday. The trailer is confirmed to debut in theaters ahead of Avatar: Fire and Ash, which will be released on December 19.
According to Collider and multiple sources, the Doomsday trailer will premiere alongside the highly anticipated Avatar sequel. Additionally, insider @Cryptic4KQual hinted that some fortunate fans may get a sneak preview of footage before the official release.
It remains uncertain whether Marvel Studios will release the trailer online simultaneously with the theatrical debut, though such a move would be strategic given the high anticipation. Bootleg copies of the teaser are expected to appear quickly after the theater release.
Marvel is reportedly preparing “multiple different versions” of the trailer to maintain surprises. One version is said to feature Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, appearing out of costume. This suggests a more emotional or flashback-driven scene.
