Following the announcement of his fourth studio album, Piss In The Wind, Joji has released his second single of the week, "Past Won’t Leave My Bed." The song expresses the persistent ache of being unable to move on, revisiting a past relationship. It opens with a minimal piano line that gradually expands into a lush, sweeping arrangement.
The music video, directed by Ethan Eng, depicts a hitchhiking nomad on a restless journey across North America, complementing the song’s themes of longing and wandering.
"Since his breakthrough in 2017, Joji has released four critically-acclaimed studio albums BALLADS 1 (2018), Nectar (2020), and SMITHEREENS (2022)."
