Toronto’s longest-running, free film festival offers more than movies

Toronto’s Longest-Running Free Film Festival Returns

The 23rd annual Regent Park Film Festival will be held from November 27 to 30 in Toronto. This event marks the city’s longest-running free film festival, offering much more than just movies.

More Than Just Films

After the popular summer series, Under the Stars, the festival returns with four days of complimentary movies, workshops, artist talks, and community events.

“Regent Park Film Festival (RPFF) is an award-winning, community based, charitable organization,” says the team. “RPFF amplifies and centres marginalized communities and their stories. We believe everyone should be able to make and experience film and art, regardless of their financial status.”

Film Lineup and Themes

This year’s selection features 43 films that explore the everyday acts of care that support individuals and communities through both hardship and happiness.

Community and Accessibility

RPFF continues to focus on inclusivity, ensuring that financial barriers do not limit access to artistic expression and storytelling.
