Megyn Kelly delivered a sharp rebuke to Republicans following their significant losses on Election Day. She accused conservatives of lacking the ability to win without former President Donald Trump's leadership.
Speaking on “The Megyn Kelly Show” Wednesday afternoon, Kelly addressed the outcomes that favored Democrats in California, New Jersey, Virginia, and New York City.
“The Republican party needs to get its s–t together ASAP,” Kelly declared.
Kelly mocked the Republicans for focusing energy on minor disputes instead of substantive issues.
“I’m really glad we spent the past couple of weeks, as Sean Davis of the Federalist put it, policing some young person’s group chat. What a podcast host said and what the head of a think tank over at Heritage had to say. I’m really glad that the Republicans devoted so much time to that. That was a great move.”
She further accused the party of embracing a losing mentality and lacking strength independently of Trump.
“The Republicans like to lose. They enjoy when they are embattled and in a losing position and complaining. They do it really well.”
Kelly emphasized that the party is not strong on its own.
“Republicans don’t know how to win. They don’t know who to run,” she said. “They don’t know what to do when daddy’s not there to fly them across the finish line. And that’s just been so obvious.”
Megyn Kelly sharply criticizes the Republican Party for its election failures, blaming a lack of independent strength and overreliance on Donald Trump’s leadership.
