North Lincolnshire Unites to Honour Armed Forces on Remembrance Sunday
North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of its armed forces with a parade and remembrance event in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.
Event Details
The parade will assemble outside The Baths Hall from 10:10 AM and start marching at 10:25 AM.
Participants can gather for tea and coffee inside The Baths Hall from 9:30 AM or join the group outside from 10:00 AM.
Marching groups include serving personnel, veterans, military organizations, and uniformed groups.
The route will follow Doncaster Road to the Cenotaph outside North Lincolnshire Museum.
The remembrance service will begin at 10:45 AM with an Act of Remembrance.
A two-minute silence will be observed at 11:00 AM, followed by wreath laying.
Afterwards, the parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens.
The Baths Hall will host refreshments and reflection for attendees following the service.
