Cineplex Hosts Free Movie Day Across Canada

Cineplex is bringing back its popular Community Day on Saturday, November 15, offering free movies and special discounts at theatres across the country. Movie fans can attend screenings without charge and enjoy reduced prices on snacks and games.

Event Details and Movie Access

Free movie tickets will be available in theatres only, beginning at 9 a.m. local time and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. During the two-hour window, guests can purchase regular popcorn, drinks, or selected candy for $3 plus tax. The company will also provide complimentary 30-minute non-redemption play cards or tokens for its in-theatre Xscape arcades.

Discounts at The Rec Room and Playdium

At Cineplex’s Rec Room and Playdium locations, guests can access free, non-redemption one-hour game bands between 9 a.m. and noon. Additionally, $3 snack options such as fries, mini donuts, or popcorn will be available, depending on the venue.

Supporting BGC Canada

$1 from each food or beverage purchase, play card reload, and game band reload at The Rec Room and Playdium will be donated to BGC Canada.

The partnership aims to support children and teens across Canada through BGC Canada’s community programs and services.
