Community Day Brings Free Movies and Affordable Snacks to Ontario
Cineplex Community Day, now in its 13th year, returns to Ontario this November 15, offering free movie screenings at participating Cineplex locations. Fans can enjoy a full day of entertainment without spending a dime.
Free Movies and Gaming Experiences
Alongside the complimentary films, visitors can enjoy free gaming sessions at selected The Rec Room and Playdium venues. This event invites communities to relax and have fun with both movies and interactive games.
“Cineplex Community Day is consistently one of my favourite days of the year, as we welcome guests from communities across the country to join us for a morning of free movies or to engage in some friendly competition at The Rec Room or Playdium,” said Ellis Jacob, president and CEO of Cineplex.
Movie Selection and Ticket Information
- Featured films include Minions: The Rise of Gru, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Sing 2, and The Wild Robot.
- Free tickets are distributed in-person starting at 9 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
Discounted Snacks and Additional Offers
- Special prices on popcorn, drinks, and select candy at $3 plus tax until 11 a.m.
- Cineplex’s XSCAPE locations offer free 30-minute non-redemption arcade play cards or tokens before or after the movies.
This event is a great way for communities to enjoy accessible entertainment with both movies and games, making it a highlight of the year for many.
