Former football star Alex Scott is reportedly set to join the latest lineup of celebrities heading to Australia for this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.
Alex Scott, 41, transitioned from an extraordinary football career into a successful broadcasting role. She earned 140 caps for England, played for clubs like Arsenal and Birmingham City, and represented Team GB at the 2012 London Olympics. After retiring, she became a well-known TV presenter, including punditry on Match of the Day and other BBC programs.
Off camera, Alex has had her share of memorable moments, including a notably awkward date with Coronation Street actor Sam Robertson in 2020. The pair reportedly shared a candlelit dinner at a stylish Soho restaurant in London.
“I never seem to have a lot of luck on dates,” Alex said. “My one date in ages was going out with Sam [Robertson], who is lovely.”
Alex told The Sun's Fabulous magazine, “The next morning, our pictures were all over the press because someone in the restaurant had taken a photo.”
Alex Scott is preparing for a new TV challenge while maintaining her public persona shaped by sports excellence and candid reflections on her personal experiences.
