PlayStation announced the official launch of Cloud Streaming for PlayStation Portal, allowing PlayStation Plus Premium members to stream selected PS5 titles directly from their libraries. This feature expands the ways players can experience games without needing to connect to a PS5 console via Remote Play.
Since its debut in November 2023, the PlayStation Portal has evolved through updates improving public Wi-Fi support and enhancing the user experience. The introduction of a Cloud Streaming beta last year gave Premium subscribers early access to stream PS5 titles from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Classics Catalog.
Starting November 5 at 6 PM PT (November 6 at 2 AM GMT), Cloud Streaming for PS5 Games officially rolled out to all PlayStation Plus Premium members. The new launch brings additional features that expand how users can interact with their PS5 content remotely.
At launch, players can stream thousands of PS5 games digitally, including popular titles such as:
"At PlayStation, we’re always working to push the boundaries of how players experience games."
Cloud Streaming integration marks one of the platform’s most significant updates, enabling flexible and immediate gameplay for members across supported devices.
The PlayStation Portal now supports full PS5 Cloud Streaming via PlayStation Plus Premium, letting users stream games from their own libraries with improved performance and convenience.
