MCC Academy, Moga, defeated GNS Academy, Ludhiana, by 42 runs in the semifinals to qualify for the final of the First Inter-Academies (U-18) Cricket Tournament. The match took place at the Golf Link Cricket Ground on Hambran Road on Thursday.
Batting first, Moga scored 156 runs in 43.5 overs. Key contributors were Gurbaljeet Singh with 60 runs, Gurmandeep Singh with 20, Harsukh Gill with 18, and Sachin Chaudhary adding 17.
In response, GNS Academy was all out for 114 runs in 29.3 overs. Kavish Uppal top-scored with 38, Yuvraj Pal contributed 26, and Aryan Singh made 11.
