On November 5, 2025, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced the 35th batch including 1 new substance of very high concern (SVHC). This addition raises the total number of substances on the Candidate List to 251.
For products exported to the European Union containing SVHC substances above 0.1%, companies must comply with information transmission and SCIP reporting duties. If the annual export volume exceeds one ton and contains more than 0.1% of SVHC substances, notification is also required.
