Le Mans Ultimate is now actively being developed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a tentative release planned for late 2026 or early 2027.
Three months ago, Motorsport Games announced that console development “could begin in weeks” following late-stage negotiations. This optimism was backed by the company's return to operating profit and positive statements from CEO Stephen Hood.
“I have often spoken about the opportunity to bring Le Mans Ultimate to console and I am pleased to announce that work on this project is underway.”
Hood explained that by working with a respected outsourcing partner, development on the console versions can progress without disrupting the current PC main revenue source or the RaceControl subscription service.
“Some of the technologies required for this port to gaming consoles are going to be making their way back into the core PC product in the coming releases, even before the console product launches.”
Le Mans Ultimate is set to expand its reach to new platforms with a carefully managed development process ensuring continued support for the PC version and upcoming enhancements.
