Actress and author Candace Cameron Bure opened up about the challenging periods in her marriage with Valeri Bure, sharing how those experiences shaped her faith and inspired her new book, Rise and Renew: A 30-Day Devotional to Heal a Hurting Heart, Overcome Emotional Pain, and Grow in Your Faith.
“There are days I wrestle with brokenness. I have experienced that,”
Cameron Bure said in an interview with Us Weekly on November 4. She added that while she does not feel this way daily, there have been seasons in her life when emotional pain was deeply present.
The former Full House star admitted that maintaining balance between her career and her family life has often been a challenge.
“I think there’s always been a struggle with work and family life balance. I think so many women experience that,”
she shared, noting that even with her husband’s constant support, life’s seasons brought their share of tests.
Cameron Bure emphasized that after 29 years of marriage, she and Valeri have experienced both joyful and difficult times, but ultimately grew stronger through them.
“There were times of deep brokenness that I felt. But God is in the restoration business,”

Although Bure acknowledges the valleys of struggle in her marriage, she believes that faith and resilience have continually strengthened their bond and renewed their family life.
