Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Alex Vesia and his wife, Kayla, shared tragic news on Friday about the loss of their baby daughter, Sterling Sol Vesia. The couple confirmed that Sterling passed away on October 26 in a heartfelt joint post on Instagram.
"Our little angel, we love you forever and you’re with us always. Our beautiful daughter went to heaven Sunday, October 26th. There are no words to describe the pain we’re going through, but we hold her in our hearts and cherish every second we had with her."
The post also expressed deep gratitude to the Dodgers organization, teammates, and fans for their compassion and support during this devastating time.

Vesia, 29, was absent from the Dodgers' World Series roster due to what the team described as a personal matter. The couple did not disclose the cause of death.
