Nicole Kidman, Jude Law and More Who Didn’t Let Lacking a High School Diploma Derail Their Success

Celebrities Who Achieved Success Without a High School Diploma

Some famous personalities did not let the lack of a high school diploma stop their rise to success.

Jeremy Allen White’s Story

The star of The Bear, Jeremy Allen White, recently shared a touching experience on the Live with Kelly and Mark show on October 23. He revealed that he never graduated from the city's Professional Performing Arts School because he didn’t attend enough classes.

“I wasn’t a good student because I didn’t go to school enough.”

After the premiere of his film Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere in New York City, an old teacher surprised him with a special gift — his high school diploma. At 34 years old, he finally got his diploma.

“And I was like, ‘Ah, you don’t have to do this, this is crazy, what are you giving me a gift for?’ And I open it up, and it is my high school diploma. So… at 34 years old, I graduated high school!”

Nicole Kidman’s Early School Departure

Although Nicole Kidman holds two Oscars, she expressed regret about leaving school before graduating.

“I’m a high school dropout, which I’m not proud to say. I had some teachers that I still think of fondly and were amazing to me.”

By age 15, Nicole was already focused on becoming an actress and moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career.

Summary

Despite leaving school early or not graduating on time, these celebrities demonstrated that determination and talent can lead to remarkable achievements.
