The Vancouver Canucks have officially ended their association with winger Vitali Kravtsov. General manager Patrik Allvin announced that the 25-year-old Russian player was placed on unconditional waivers for contract termination.
Kravtsov joined Vancouver’s training camp in Penticton, British Columbia, before being assigned to the Abbotsford Canucks, the team’s American Hockey League affiliate. During his time there, he scored one goal and made three assists in 10 games.
The Canucks acquired Kravtsov from the New York Rangers in February 2023. However, he spent most of the last two seasons playing for Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
Standing six-foot-three and weighing 186 pounds, Kravtsov contributed significantly in his recent KHL campaign.
