Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao is widely regarded as one of the greatest ADCs in League of Legends history. Despite this, he chose another player as the best ADC of all time, passing the crown to a fellow star.
The ADC, or attack damage carry, is the primary damage dealer in the game. Their goal is to inflict massive damage to opponents, particularly in the late game, creating opportunities for their team by securing kills and pushing objectives.
In a TikTok video by lolesports, Uzi participated in a winner-stays-on format to choose the top ADC from a list of elite players. Once Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk was named, Uzi consistently selected him over other top ADCs such as Gumayusi, Jackeylove, Imp, Viper, Deft, and even himself.
“Once Park 'Ruler' Jae-hyuk was mentioned, there was little space for anyone to take his spot,” said Uzi, choosing the Gen.G star as the best ADC.
Although Uzi dominated the ADC role for many years and shaped how it was played, Ruler’s recent performances and statistics have brought him closer to, or even above, Uzi in the eyes of some fans and analysts.
Uzi retired in 2023 after a stellar career competing in China with teams like Bilibili Gaming, RNG, and EDward Gaming, leaving a lasting impact on professional League of Legends.
“For many, Uzi has long been considered the best ADC ever, but in recent years, Ruler has definitely brought the gap closer and, in some eyes, taken over from Uzi altogether.”
Author’s summary: Uzi acknowledges Ruler as the greatest ADC in League of Legends, highlighting the evolving talents in the bot lane and recognizing the rise of a new top star.
