The warm-up begins this afternoon. Although this morning is cooler than Monday’s start, temperatures will rise quickly during the afternoon. Morning lows in the 40s and 50s will warm to the low 80s under mostly sunny skies.
Expect increasing cloud cover as humidity levels slowly rise. Temperatures will remain in the low to mid-80s both days. The weather will stay mostly dry and warm through Saturday.
The next front arrives Sunday, bringing scattered showers possible in the afternoon. Some rain may continue into Monday. Along with the showers, much colder weather is expected.
"It's very possible that next week we will see the coldest weather of the season across the area."
No tropical development is expected over the next seven days.
Summary: Warm and mostly sunny through Saturday, showers and a cold front arrive Sunday with potentially the coldest weather of the season next week.
