Grippen Community park in Endicott hosted its first Broome County Fall Festival to usher in the season.
The fall family-friendly event included food, drinks, and a free cider and donut from the cider mill for the first 250 attendees.
“There’s a lot of people, a lot of things to do. I think a lot of people are really happy, but we couldn’t be any more amazed by how many people came out and really participated in all the activities.”
Event Coordinator of the Broome County Parks, Paige Rauch, expressed surprise at the turnout. All proceeds from the festival’s cornhole tournament will benefit the Broome county dog shelter and Camp Barkalot.
