Seth Curry, an 11-year NBA veteran, is set to sign a one-year contract with the Golden State Warriors for the 2025–26 season.
Curry has built a long career in the league after going undrafted in 2013 and initially signing with the Warriors organization. Over the years he has played for multiple teams, including the Trail Blazers, Mavericks, 76ers, Nets and Hornets, carving out a role as a reliable perimeter shooter.
Last season Curry played for the Charlotte Hornets, where he led the NBA in three-point percentage. He converted 45.6% of his attempts from beyond the arc while averaging 6.5 points per game and shooting 47.8% from the field.
In Golden State, Curry is expected to provide floor spacing and veteran depth in the backcourt. His elite three-point accuracy should complement the Warriors’ offensive system and create additional room for star guards to operate.
Due to salary-cap and second-apron constraints, the Warriors structured Curry’s agreement as a short-term camp deal with plans tied to cap timing. The team may need to waive him before the regular season and then bring him back in November, when a prorated veteran minimum would fit under their remaining cap room.
Seth Curry’s one-year return to Golden State adds elite shooting and veteran stability to a Warriors backcourt carefully navigating tight cap and roster constraints.
