Portable 3D-Printed Device Produces Drinking Water from Air

A new device, named Water from Air, can extract up to 1.6 gallons of clean drinking water per day from air.

Designed by Louisa Graupe and Julika Schwarz, graduates of FH Münster University of Applied Sciences, this 3D-printed prototype aims to provide enough daily water for a family of four.

The device can produce up to 1.6 gallons of clean drinking water per day using nothing but air.

With advancements in 3D printing technology, innovative creations such as biodegradable kitchenware, artificial animal skin, and even entire homes constructed from dirt have become possible.
