The Anker Solix C300 DC portable power station is designed to be truly portable, trading bulk for the ability to charge small devices quickly.
I was impressed to receive the Solix C300 DC for testing, noting its lack of AC output, which sets it apart from other power stations I've reviewed.
Initially, this may seem like a limitation, but it allows for a reduction in weight, size, and price. The 288Wh battery is comparable to other small power stations, including Anker's own sister unit, the C300 power station.
However, a 288Wh battery would not last long with a household appliance, and capacity is lost in the DC-to-AC power conversion process.
The real advantage of this product lies in its ability to power USB-C supported products, making it a great option for charging small devices on the go.
The removal of AC power reduces the weight, size and price of this power station.
