Richard Kyle Bishop
Richard Kyle Bishop, also known as "Dickie", passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 77, in Riner, Virginia.
Dickie was born in 1948 in Christiansburg, Virginia, at Altamont Hospital to Kyle N. Bishop and Ida Mae Bishop.
He graduated from Auburn High School in 1966 and married his wife, Ita, on June 11, 1966.
Dickie devoted his life to working on his family's dairy farm, taking great pride in his work and crops, and achieving his lifelong ambition of having a registered dairy herd.
He found joy in the everyday tasks of farm life, whether tending to the cows, working the fields, or mixing feed.
Beyond farming, Dickie was a well-loved and respected member of the Riner community.
