Walk for Breast Cancer Research Set for Sunday in Albany

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Capital Region is celebrating 30 years with an annual walk at Washington Park.

Over 13,000 people are expected to participate this Sunday to raise money for breast cancer research. The event starts at 10 a.m. with the walk beginning at noon.

Since 1993, Making Strides has raised nearly $1 billion nationwide for research, patient support, and life-saving services. Last year, the Capital Region raised over $850,000.
