Albany Teen Accused of Possessing Ghost Gun

A 16-year-old Albany boy has been accused of possessing a gun after a brief chase with police officers.

According to Albany Police, the incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. in the area of Delaware Avenue and Myrtle Avenue. The teen was found to have a loaded 9mm ghost gun.

The teen, whose name is not being released due to his age, has been charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned on Sunday morning and sent to the Capital District Juvenile Secure Detention Facility.
