Albany Woman Charged with Manslaughter in Alleged Drunken Crash
A 25-year-old Albany woman, Imahjai Sutherland, has been charged with manslaughter for an alleged drunken crash on 787 that killed her two passengers.
- Two passengers, 27-year-old Jamilla N. Tirado and 25-year-old Cepelynn T. Sutherland, were killed in the crash.
- Sutherland was also charged with two counts of second-degree assault, aggravated vehicular homicide, DWI, and other vehicle and traffic violations.
Police observed signs of intoxication and took a blood sample at Albany Medical Center.
Sutherland was taken to the State Police Latham station after being released from the hospital.
