Seizure of Bladed Weapons
A Christchurch man has been prosecuted for possessing a collection of bladed weapons.
William Lindenburn (44) of Moorcroft Avenue pleaded guilty to committing the offences at his home on 3rd August.
- A Samurai sword with a curved blade over 50cms
- A zombie-style machete more than 40cms long with a cutting and a serrated edge
- A butterfly knife
- A small knife disguised as a card
- Three “push” daggers
Magistrates ordered that Lindenburn be deprived of the weapons, fined him £120, and ordered him to pay £133 in costs and charges.
