Federal environmental scientists have been "left largely defenseless" with their jobs abruptly terminated, research and policy advice ignored, manipulated or suppressed.
According to two nonpartisan, nonprofit groups, Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) and the Environmental Protection Network (EPN), the agency has been captured by the industry it's obligated to regulate.
