A 35-year-old woman was allegedly approached by an individual making anti-LGBTQ+ remarks in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn.

The incident occurred on October 5, at approximately 3 p.m., on the corner of New Lots Ave. The individual then allegedly hit the woman in the arm with a chair, causing minor injuries.

According to an NYPD spokesperson, there have been no updates on the alleged incident as of October 14.

No medical attention was received by the victim.
