Ted Cruz Endorses Emilio González for Miami Mayor
Former City Manager Emilio González has received an endorsement from U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas for his campaign for Miami Mayor.
He understands what it means to fight for liberty both abroad and here at home.
Cruz, a fellow Republican and Cuban American, emphasized González's heritage and commitment to public service as key to earning his support. Cruz called González a "dear friend" and said it is an honor to endorse him.
González, a decorated Army colonel with decades of service in intelligence and diplomacy, has a strong background in public service. Cruz stated,
