City Government at Its Worst
A recent visit to a Twin Lakes city council meeting revealed a disturbing trend. The meetings, which I had heard about from my sister over the past year, are being dominated by individuals who seem to be inexperienced and misguided.
According to my observations, the council members, with one exception, appear to be under the influence of a leader who has a history of causing harm to various organizations and communities. This individual seems to be using the council for personal gain, with the majority of members following his lead without question.
The Twin Lakes city council members are just puppets in his show, except for one member who refuses to abandon her ideals and the Twin Lakes City Council rules and meeting guidelines.
This situation is particularly concerning given the long history of my brother-in-law's family in the town, dating back over a hundred years.
