New CT scan machine in Labasa still not being used as power upgrade yet to be done

Labasa Hospital's New CT Scan Machine Remains Unused

Labasa Hospital has not provided CT scan services for two years due to inadequate power supply for the new machine.

A resident, Vinesh Prakash, sought clarity from the Ministry of Health in July, citing a patient's experience where the hospital stated the machine was non-operational due to insufficient power supply from EFL.

The machine is not operational because EFL is not supplying them enough power.

The Hospital Administrator confirmed that electrical upgrading is in progress, with the Ministry of Works yet to complete phase one.

Author's summary: Labasa Hospital's CT scan machine remains unused due to power supply issues.
