Nick Coffey Launches 2026 Attorney General Campaign
Nick Coffey, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, has become the first Democratic candidate to launch a 2026 campaign for attorney general of Oklahoma.
"I left the [Department of Justice] to run for attorney general because corruption is running rampant through our elected offices,"
Coffey stated that his goal is to target corruption and keep elected officials "in check". With his experience in taking down cartel leaders, violent prison gangs, and mafia bosses, Coffey believes Oklahoma deserves an attorney general who will bring accountability to keeping politicians in check.
Coffey is ready to take on the role of Oklahoma's top-ranking law enforcement officer.
