SAM advises JTRF on Railway Wheel and Axle Production Line Agreements
Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co has advised Jupiter Tatravagonka Railwheel Factory Private Limited on two separate sets of agreements.
- with MAG Germany and MAG India for the supply, erection and commissioning of state-of-the-art production lines for railway wagon axles;
- with Honor Seiki Co., Ltd. for the supply, erection and commissioning of state-of-the-art production lines for railway wagon wheels.
The transactions involved a multi-jurisdictional contracting framework.
The deal was structured through a series of supply and service agreements designed to streamline the procurement and commissioning process across India, Germany, and Taiwan respectively.
