Around Ahwatukee: Week of Oct. 15, 2025
Ahwatukee Republican Women will hold its annual membership appreciation and chili dinner at 6 p.m. at Graythorn, Ahwatukee, with guest speaker Maricopa County Sheriff Jerry Sheridan.
The public is invited to sample homemade chilis prepared by members and cheer on the winners of the tasting contest.
- A monthly meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. with guest speakers:
- Greg Blackie, deputy director of policy of the Arizona Free Enterprise Club, discussing the upcoming 2026 legislative session
- Pastor Rod Hudelson, discussing vetting candidates

Ahwatukee’s American Legion Post 64’s monthly member’s meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 15, in the main hall of the Ahwatukee Recreation Center. All veterans and guests are invited to join.
