A new book, 'Tom Kundig: Complete Houses', showcases the American architect's entire residential portfolio, featuring unique homes such as studios on wheels and cabins built into boulders.
Tom Kundig, principal/owner and founder of Seattle-based practice Olson Kundig, has spent over 40 years creating ideal homes, starting with cosy cabins in the US and expanding to six continents.
His homes are often memorable, with examples including a beach house in New Zealand, a granite-outcropped house in the Stockholm Archipelago, and a Malibu home with panoramic Pacific views.
Hundreds of his homes are showcased in the new monograph published by Monacelli, an imprint of Phaidon: Tom Kundig: Complete Houses.
Author's summary: Tom Kundig's residential portfolio is showcased in a new book.
